Why I think we should grow vegetables

 Today I made a piece of writing about if I think we should grow vegetables.

I think we should grow vegetables because if we do grow vegetables we can save money and we can have fresh vegetables. 

I enjoyed doing this because I like writing about things where I can use my own opinion.

    Hi Lily,

    This is a great opening statement for your writing about vegetables. I agree with you, we can have lots of fresh seasonal vegetables if we grow them ourselves. I also like knowing that there has been nothing sprayed onto my vegetables when I grow them myself.
    Can you add some more details and supporting facts to your opinion writing to persuade the reader further?
